Following the campus guidelines for Coronavirus all UC Davis classes, lectures, seminars, labs and discussion sections will move to virtual instruction and remain virtual through the end of fall quarter 2020, including final exams. Professor Materson named P.L.A.C.E. Scholar of the Quarter for Winter 2021

Congratulations to Professor Lisa Materson, who was named P.L.A.C.E. (Professors Leveraging A Community of Engagement) Scholar of the Quarter!

This award recognizes faculty whose scholarship epitomizes scholarly or creative achievements that involve diverse communities with a commitment to social change. Materson was recognized for the integration of her research with her work with the Davis-Puerto Rico Initiative and National Park Service, which demonstrate “publicly engaged scholarship that seeks to create change in communities."
