Ashley was granted an Oberlin College Frederick B. Artz Summer Research Grant to conduct research in the Herbert Shore Collection in Honor of Eduardo Mondlane. Mondlane was the leader of the Mozambican Liberation Front (FRELIMO). Ashley will make a research visit to the Oberlin College Archives in the summer.
