Gallman Accepts Postdoctoral Fellowship

Nancy Gallman

Congratulations to History graduate student, Nancy Gallman! Nancy recently accepted the two year Barra Postdoctoral Fellowship at the McNeil Center for Early American Studies, sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania. During her fellowship, Nancy will teach two courses at the University of Pennsylvania. The McNeil Center's mission is to facilitate "scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic World before 1850." Nancy's dissertation entitled, "Blood & Property: Spanish Law and Native Justice in the Florida-Georgia Borderlands, 1784-1821," is chaired by Professor Emeritus Alan S. Taylor.
