Following the campus guidelines for Coronavirus all UC Davis classes, lectures, seminars, labs and discussion sections will move to virtual instruction and remain virtual through the end of fall quarter 2020, including final exams. Errazzouki Publishes Op-ed in the Washington Post

History graduate student Samia Errazzouki recently wrote an op-ed article that was published in the opinion section of the Washington Post on October 2nd, 2018: 

A young woman embodied Morocco's future. Instead she was shot while trying to emigrate.

The piece, which drew on the author's experience as a child of Moroccan immigrants and later as a journalist working in Morocco, addressed recent political developments in the country. Samia is currently a second-year Ph.D. student specializing in North African history, focusing on nationalism and state formation.
