Information Updated 01/30/2009
Would you enjoy working closely over a whole year with one of the members of the History Department?
The History Honors Program offers you an opportunity to complete your career as a history major by undertaking a major research project using original sources under the one-on-one guidance of a faculty adviser. Students who complete such a thesis often report that it was the most important experience of their undergraduate years.
To be accepted into the program, you must have a 3.3 GPA and be of junior standing.
Information packets and applications are also available in the History Department office, 2216 Social Sciences & Humanities.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. Monday, May 5th, in 2216 Social Sciences and Humanities Building.
If you have any questions, please contact the undergraduate advisor Mark Reyes, Professor Mike Saler, or Professor Lorena Orozeza
