Cori Knudten is a PhD student in U.S. environmental and women's/gender history. She has extensive experience in public history, particularly with the National Park Service. She is interested in combining environmental and gender analysis to illuminate how both the nonhuman environment and conceptions of gender influenced urban development in this period.
